LAND RENT THEORY AND ITS EVOLUTION

Abstract
The article discusses the theoretical approaches of various economic schools to the study of the nature and the content of land rent, as well as to identification of the causes of the formation of absolute rent, differential rent I and differential rent II. It is noted that modern treatment of rent relations are not free from shortcomings: firstly, it is the problem of conditions and reasons for land rent formation, especially differential rent I and II; secondly, it is the question of the composition of economic agents of rent relations; thirdly, it is the problem of the assessment of rent influence on the dynamics of social reproduction efficiency; fourthly, it is the question of the definition of methods and techniques for rational rental relations regulation.
