Abstract

The purpose of the research is to develop a user-accessible reference - information system (database) for both information storage and display in the Non-Chernozem zone of the Russian Federation. The database contains information on: agri-climatic, soil and administrative-economic conditions of the region; current and potential productivity of the crops characterizing agricultural management. The reference - information database created on the base the geographical - information system QGIS version 3.20 includes a set of maps on basic parameters and reference tables. The set of electronic maps includes: administrative – economic maps, physical-geographical maps, analytical climatic maps (temperature, radiation balance, precipitation, moisturizing coefficient, etc.), soil map and two specially designed maps: potential yield. energy status of the soil. The following data: climate, soil, crop yields, current and optimum agrochemical parameters as well plant requirements in reclamation are given for the Non-Chernozem zone. The collected and structured information provides current status of agricultural land determining, comparison between current and potential yield for the given region and to select measures soil improvement and unused land return into circulation, depending on their condition and production potential.
