NTERACTIVE MAP AS A WAY OF PROMOTING ETHNOCULTURAL TOURISM SIGHTS IN THE UDMURT REPUBLIC

Abstract
In this article, the authors address the issue of promoting ethnocultural tourism sights. For many regions of Russia, ethnocultural heritage is one of the ways to enhance tourist attractiveness, therefore there are many proposals for conducting ethnocultural tours now. The authors examine one method of promoting ethnocultural tourism, namely the interactive map. It is emphasized that interactive maps make it easy to get acquainted with the sights of a particular region as part of amateur tourism. In Udmurtia, the resource ethnocultural potential for tourism is very high, so online maps will undoubtedly help tourists to find a lot of interesting and structured information. The article also analyzes existing interactive maps featuring tourist sights in Udmurtia and justifies the choice of StoryMap JS as a convenient platform for creating such a map. In conclusion, the article states that an interactive map can become an effective tool for promoting ethnocultural tourism, as it presents information about sights reflecting ethnic uniqueness in a convenient and accessible format for tourists.
