Abstract

Russia is a major player in the global energy market. Oil and gas exports have been a major driver of Russia's economic growth over the past 5 years, making the Russian economy dependent on oil and natural gas exports and vulnerable to fluctuations in oil prices. However, Russia's oil and gas fields are at the final stages of development, and modern technologies have not been fully implemented. This study is an analysis of the problems and opportunities of Russian natural gas exports, the prospects for Russian natural gas exports on world markets based on the latest statistical data, scientific publications and sources in the media.
