CREATING A POSITIVE IMAGE OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY ON THE EXAMPLE OF CANADA

Abstract

The article analyses the main initiatives and programs implemented in Canada to create a positive image of the agricultural industry among the population, increase the prestige of agricultural professions and attract qualified personnel for the development of agriculture. The authors analyze the communication program «Agriculture More Than Ever», «Agriculture Awareness Initiative». The article pays special attention to the activities of the federal non-profit educational organization «Agriculture in the Classroom Canada», which has branches in all provinces of Canada. The authors believe that Canada's experience in popularizing agricultural production can be used by other countries.
