POND-FISH FARMING PROFITABILITY EVALUATION AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The fish production industry in Russia currently is under development. In most countries, aquaculture production  sometimes is the main part of fishing industry and accounts for more than half of the total turnover. In ussia, it makes up about 5% of the total turnover, and the situation in the near future is unlikely to change dramatically. At the present stage, the state is not interested in development of fish farming in the country. Fish farmings will increase the saturation of consumer market with green-labelled and nutritious local products. In conditions of growing competition, the most important aspect is implementation of initial forecasting calculations and business planning, which is considered in the article with the example of creating a pond farm for fish rearing in the village of Ust-Kishert, Perm Krai.
