Abstract

The article discusses the tools for improving the regional investment climate. Currently, one of the most urgent tasks facing the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation is to attract investment into the country's economy. Of particular interest in this regard are activities aimed at improving the investment environment of the region. At the present stage, three tools are used to solve this problem: target models are being introduced to simplify economic activities and increase the investment attractiveness of the subjects of the Russian Federation, a national rating of the investment climate in the subjects of the Russian Federation is being formed annually, and the standard of activity of executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation is being applied. The article presents the directions of implementation of the mechanism for ensuring a favorable investment climate in the Kursk region. The implementation of the proposed mechanism will ensure the growth of the investment attractiveness of the Kursk region, the efficiency of investment activities, and, consequently, the solution of one of the main tasks of the modern agro–industrial complex - increasing the export potential of the region.
