ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AS A MAIN DIRECTION OF ECOLOGICAL TOURISM

Abstract

The relevance of this article lies in the fact that the development of ecological tourism is one of the areas through which it is possible to preserve the natural resources of the country and its protected areas. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the dynamics of the development of eco-tourism in different regions of the country. The article uses the following research methods: the factor analysis method makes it possible to analyze the influence of individual factors on the resulting indicator for the development of eco-tourism in natural areas. The article also uses methods of analysis and synthesis when studying individual regions and attracting tourist flows to them in certain directions. The results of the article are regional data that confirm the development of tourism in the regions of the country and the Sverdlovsk region. Examples of regions that are among the top ten in terms of ecotourism attendance in 2022 are given. Indicators for the development of ecological tourism in the Sverdlovsk region are analyzed. Examples are given for individual districts of the Sverdlovsk region, where conditions exist for the development of this type of tourism. In conclusion, the authors note that eco-tourism is not only a fashionable and priority trend, but also promotes respect for nature and develops in people self-awareness and a responsible attitude towards the environment.
