Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of urban improvement, equipment of public spaces, and the creation of landscape architecture. It was noted that the concept of improvement of this territory includes the reconstruction of green spaces. It is shown that the main task of urban improvement and gardening can be called the creation of healthy and favorable living conditions for the population. Information is provided on the comfort of the urban environment through the improvement of public space. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using the developments of a project for landscaping public areas in the city in order to increase the level of a comfortable urban environment. It was revealed that the construction and landscaping of the park in this area will have a beneficial effect on the environmental situation in this area of the city. Currently, mainly deciduous tree species grow on the territory of the park: warty birch, chestnut, Norway maple, field maple, ash, pyramidal poplar, cherry plum, pear, horse chestnut, and Scots pine. Thus, the designed park will create a modern, multifunctional public space and shape the aesthetic appearance of the city, which will significantly increase the comfort of the urban environment, create a new point of attraction for residents and guests of the city of Stavropol, and improve the level and quality of living conditions for city residents. The use of modern materials and equipment will create a unique, comfortable space that meets safety and comfort standards.
